For years, Pantego Bible Church has partnered with missionaries in Africa to make God famous through church planting, leadership development, Bible translation and medical missions. reGenesis represents our attempt to bring some of these initiatives together in a collaborative effort.
AFRICAN MINISTRIES
In 2009, Africa came to our doorstep through a special partnership with refugees from Burundi and other central Africa countries. Resettled in the United States, these immigrants demonstrate great need and a great desire to preserve their African identity. A growing community of about 150 refugees now meet at Pantego Bible Church for weekly worship and a strong partnership has been formed between two congregations. Pantego Bible Church serves our Burundi friends through the following ministries:
* Transportation: Providing rides from residences to PBC each Sunday [contact David Nibbs, to serve]
* ESL: Teaching English as a second language [contact Rainey Webb, to serve]
* Children's Ministry: Teaching Children's Sunday School each Sunday [contact Jennifer Kinchen, to serve]
* Essentials Closet: providing personal care/hygiene items [bring to PBC any Sunday; contact Faith Nibbs]
* Financial Contributions: Donate to the ongoing needs of our friends through www.supportPBC.org
